If you’ve ever dreamed of turning your passion for horses into a career, this is your chance to take the first step. Clinton and Professional Clinician Jeff Davis worked together to create a scholarship opportunity for talented horsemen who have the drive to join the Downunder Horsemanship team but lack the resources to enroll in the Clinician Academy.

We will hold two Clinician Academy Scholarship Try-Out Clinics this fall. These exclusive clinics give aspiring horsemen the opportunity to showcase their horsemanship skills and earn a scholarship into the Clinician Academy.

2026 Clinician Academy Scholarship Try-Out Clinic Dates

• September 23–29 in Tulsa, Oklahoma | Application and Information
• October 26–30 in Hurricane, Utah | Application and Information

During each clinic, participants will work directly with Professional Clinician Jeff Davis while demonstrating their ability to train a horse in the Fundamentals level of the Method. Participants should bring a horse that does not know the Method in order to best showcase their ability.

Throughout the clinic, Jeff will evaluate each participant’s horsemanship and how well they uphold Downunder Horsemanship’s core values of hardworking, ambitious, loyal and personable – qualities that are essential to becoming a successful Method Ambassador.

The top-performing candidates will earn the opportunity to attend the Clinician Academy at a highly discounted price instead of the course’s full tuition of $20,000. Plus, Downunder Horsemanship will provide the two horses they train throughout the course.

Graduates who successfully complete the Academy have the opportunity to represent the Method by teaching clinics, helping horse owners achieve their goals and sharing Clinton’s training philosophy with others.

If you’re ready to put your horsemanship to the test and prove you have what it takes, reach out to our office at [email protected] or 254-552-1000 to learn more and sign up to participate in one of the clinics.
