Consult With Clinton

If you’ve ever wished you could have a private phone conversation with Clinton to get his take on the pros and cons about a decision you’re making, here’s your chance! Clinton is offering private consulting for any topic in the horse industry.

Clinton first opened up the opportunity for consulting to No Worries Club members in April after a couple of his close friends encouraged him to do so. “I’d helped them both with building new barns and they told me I’d saved them thousands of dollars by sharing what mistakes to avoid,” Clinton says. “When they first told me I should offer my service to the public, I thought they were crazy. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that they could be on to something. After all, if when I first got started in the industry, I’d been able to go to one person and ask all of the questions I had – and get answers to ones I didn’t even know to ask! – instead of trying to hunt the information down, I’d have done it in a heartbeat.”

Since its introduction, consulting with Clinton has been a hit. The private phone calls have touched on a variety of topics, from saddle fit and picking out a horse to barn lay out and the best way to go about getting a job in the equine industry.

“I see my responsibility as a consultant to share my experience and the knowledge I’ve acquired in the 28 years I’ve been a professional in the industry. I don’t tell people what they want to hear or make a decision for them. I just offer up the pros and cons as I see them and provide a non-emotional outlook,” Clinton says. “In other words, whereas you may be emotionally attached to a situation (you love a horse but he doesn’t fit your needs and goals as a rider), I don’t have a dog in the fight. Often times, all of us, including myself, need that voice of reason to help us make the right decision.”

Consulting phone calls are $600/hour, and Clinton generally holds one phone call per week. If you’re a No Worries Club member, listen to Clinton explain the consulting opportunity in this video.
