Find It on the No Worries Club Website: Spice Up Your Training With Cattle

One of the ways that Clinton loves to challenge his horses and keep things interesting for them during training sessions is to work cattle. “I do this even with my reining horses and encourage my students to do it with their training horses as well,” Clinton shares. “If you want your horse to enjoy working with you and put his best effort forward, you need to keep training sessions fresh.”

In the March 2018 No Worries Club video, “Introducing a Horse to Cattle,” Clinton starts off by explaining how to safely familiarize a horse to cattle. “It’s important to use a step-by-step approach so that you don’t ruin your horse’s confidence,” Clinton says.

Then, he works with an advanced student and her horse to explain how to progress your horse’s cow-handling skills. It’s a fun lesson full of great training tips to progress your horsemanship.

Listen to Clinton take on the subject by logging on to the No Worries Club website or the Downunder Horsemanship app and going to the NWC Videos section.

The No Worries Club website is home to hundreds of hours of training video content available to members only.
