Here We Come, Harrisburg

Our second Walkabout Tour presented by Ritchie Industries of the year takes place this weekend at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. The last time the tour came to Pennsylvania was in 2017, so we’re excited to reconnect with friends and meet new horsemen!

Clinton and his Professional Clinicians will work with Clinton’s performance horses throughout the weekend; they’ll also demonstrate how to start the Method on untrained horses. Using local horses, and even horses with problem behavior, to educate the audience is important to Clinton because when he was a young boy learning horsemanship, he was often discouraged by trainers who taught lessons using trained horses. Knowing what to do when everything doesn’t go to plan with your horse is crucial to knowing how to effectively communicate with him and get results.

Although the tour’s main focus is on instruction and inspiration, there’s plenty of entertainment and giveaways. By the end of the tour, Clinton will hand out his entire library as well as his most popular training equipment and tools. Our sponsors are a generous bunch as well, always surprising the audience with free product and fun raffles. When it’s all said and done, over $9,000 in prizes and giveaways are handed out throughout the weekend.

Equine Empowerment Initiative will be joining us as our Ritchie Charity Ball Toss group. The nonprofit offers equine assisted therapy for those with Autism, ADHD, processing disorders, PTSD and other mental health disorders. The group will keep all funds they raise throughout the weekend to support their work.

For a complete rundown of the weekend’s schedule, visit our website. Tickets are $25 for the weekend and will be available at the event. No Worries Club members receive five free tickets to tours each year. Please note that the facility is charging a $10 parking fee.
