Here We Come, Waterloo!

This weekend marks a historic moment for Downunder Horsemanship as we gather in Waterloo, Iowa, for the final stop of our Walkabout Tour presented by Ritchie Industries. For more than two decades, the Walkabout Tour has been the ultimate way for horsemen to experience Clinton and the Method up close. The tour stops are filled with high-energy horsemanship demonstrations, training breakthroughs and inspiration that sparks long-lasting change. Waterloo will be the last chance to be part of this unforgettable experience.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate the close of an era. The event will take place at the National Cattle Congress Fairground, just a short distance away from Ritchie Industries, our longtime featured sponsor. Without Ritchie Industries’ support, and our team of sponsors, it wouldn’t have been possible to bring you tours for all these years.

Over the years, horsemen from all walks of life have come together to learn, laugh and share their passion for becoming better leaders for their horses. This weekend will be no exception. The demonstration lineup includes Clinton and our clinicians working with a variety of demo horses, showcasing our step-by-step method and giving you the tools to solve problems, build confidence and strengthen the partnership you share with your horse.

As this is our last ever tour, we’ll also be retiring Big Blue, our iconic Peterbilt semi. We’re taking her out in style with a sendoff contest. One lucky horseman will ride away with a brand-new Aussie Saddle. Entering is simple:

    1. Attend the Waterloo, IA Walkabout Tour and sign Big Blue.
    2. Record a short video (60 seconds or less) sharing how the Method has impacted your horsemanship journey.
    3. Post your video to your social media and tag Downunder Horsemanship. Be sure your post is public so we can see it.
    4. The week after the tour, we’ll draw a winner from all eligible entries.

If you’ve ever wanted to see the Walkabout Tour live, this is your final opportunity. Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this milestone weekend—one that celebrates not only Clinton’s horsemanship journey but also the incredible support of horsemen like you who have made it all possible.

Tickets are $25 for the weekend and will be available at the door. Learn more about the Walkabout Tour on our website.
