Learn More About the Come To Me Exercise

0906_01

In the September digital download for No Worries Club members, Professional Clinician Kristin Hamacher is back to continue to share the Come To Me exercise. She introduced the exercise in an earlier training session while working with Rip, an up-and-coming performance horse, to explain the goal of the exercise and the benefits of teaching it to your horse. In this session, she works with George, a colt who’s never been taught the exercise, so that she can explain the teaching stage. Because George has no experience with the Come To Me exercise, he makes plenty of mistakes. That gives Kristin the opportunity to share troubleshooting advice for when you work with your horse and how to overcome common horse problems as well as handler mistakes.
