Meet Method Ambassador Kimberly Williams

Kimberly grew up on her grandparents’ 100-acre ranch in California and was on the back of a horse before she could walk. Throughout her childhood, she was active in 4-H and spent her time exploring trails on horseback and competing in western pleasure. Some of her fond riding memories include: camping trips by horseback, riding through the wine country of Napa, night rides with her siblings, swimming the horses, riding her pony to school and other horseback adventures with extended family.

After earning her Master’s Degree in Education, Kimberly moved to Colorado and raised a Quarter Horse filly named Pica. In December 2013, Pica suddenly turned from a well-mannered horse to acting extremely disrespectful and was becoming unsafe. Kimberly tried a variety of avenues to get help, but made no progress and was left frustrated.

A friend turned Kimberly on to Clinton and the Method in early 2014. “My husband and I researched it and we were hooked. When we began using the Method we saw an immediate difference in my horse. I’m a very structured person and love the step-by-step layout of the Method,” Kimberly says. “I became such a believer in the Method that I introduced it to my family and continued to use it on all my horses.”

After attending a Fundamentals Clinic in 2014, Kimberly decided to enroll in the Academy. “I spent 14 years as an elementary school teacher and have a passion for teaching and a love for horses, so it seemed like a great fit for me,” she says.

As a Method Ambassador, Kimberly, who is based out of Franktown, Colorado, is training horses and teaching clinics and lessons. “I enjoy teaching people how to use the Method to work with their horses and achieve their horsemanship goals.”

Contact Kimberly at 303-579-2816 or [email protected].
