Meet Stylist: A Colt With Signature Horse Potential

0702_02

Stylist, a blue roan colt, will be available in the July 4th Solo Select Horses Online Sale. Known as Patron around Downunder Horsemanship, the colt is by world champion Once In A Blu Boon and out of Cheap Thrills, a mare by Stylin Cat.

Stylist was started with the Method and trained in Clinton’s performance horse program. While he’s a great-minded individual, very willing and talented, he doesn’t have the athletic prowess needed to be competitive at the top levels of reined cow horse. “He’s a great horse and acts like an old soul. He’s very quiet and laid back, which is great on one hand but part of the problem for me as far as being competitive in cow horses,” Clinton says. “If I were still offering the Signature Horse program, he’d for sure be a candidate for it. I don’t often recommend 2-year-old horses to people, but this one is the exception. His foundation is in place; he just needs some finishing touches.”

Stylist is ready to continue his cow horse training, transition to a roping futurity program or polish his training to be a great trail partner. The beautiful roan is lot number 504 in the Solo Select Horses online sale. Learn more about him, including seeing his papers, vet statement, radiographs, and videos on the Solo Select website.
